The rules of using Ilmkaar — short, plain, and student-friendly. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Ilmkaar (operated by LumaByte Pvt) provides MCQ practice and mock-test services to Pakistani entry-test students at ilmkaar.com. These Terms govern your access to and use of the platform. Read them carefully — by registering or paying for a subscription you accept everything below.
Eligibility & Accounts
- Ilmkaar is intended for students preparing for Pakistani university entry tests (NUST, UET, FAST, PU and similar).
- You must provide accurate information when registering. We may suspend any account using a fake name, fake email, or shared credentials.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Notify us at support@ilmkaar.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- One person, one account — multiple accounts created by the same individual to bypass limits will be removed.
Single-Session Policy & Account Sharing
- Each Ilmkaar account permits ONE active login at a time. Logging in on a new device automatically signs you out everywhere else.
- Sharing your account credentials with classmates, siblings, or other students is strictly prohibited.
- Repeated detection of sharing (rapid switching across cities/devices, unusual usage patterns) may result in immediate suspension without refund.
Subscriptions & Payments
- Ilmkaar Pro is offered on monthly and yearly billing cycles. The current launch price for Pro Monthly is Rs. 1,599 (regular price Rs. 2,999).
- Payments are processed manually via JazzCash, Easypaisa, and NayaPay. Your subscription activates within a few hours after we verify the transaction.
- Prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and may change with prior notice. Existing active subscriptions are honored at their original price until renewal.
- Invoices are issued in your account and emailed to your registered address.
Refunds & Cancellations
- Pro Yearly: 14-day money-back guarantee — full refund if you cancel within 14 days of payment, no questions asked.
- Pro Monthly: refundable within 48 hours of payment if you have used less than 10% of the platform's MCQs that month.
- Refunds are processed back to your original payment wallet within 7 business days.
- Refunds are not available for accounts terminated due to violation of these Terms (e.g., account sharing, cheating).
Webcam Proctoring (Optional)
- For select tests, you may enable webcam proctoring to record yourself while attempting MCQs. This is optional and clearly indicated.
- By enabling proctoring you consent to your video being recorded, stored encrypted, and reviewed if a violation is flagged.
- Recordings are auto-deleted after the configured retention window (typically 30 days).
- We never share or publish recordings. They are used solely for academic-integrity review.
Acceptable Use
- Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute MCQ content, explanations, or analytics from Ilmkaar.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the platform's security mechanisms.
- Do not upload abusive, illegal, or copyrighted material via any input field (e.g., profile, support requests).
- Do not impersonate Ilmkaar staff or attempt to phish other users.
Intellectual Property
- All MCQs, explanations, mock tests, analytics, branding, and UI elements on Ilmkaar are the intellectual property of LumaByte Pvt or our licensors.
- Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the platform for your own preparation.
- Past-paper MCQs reference publicly available exam questions and are presented with our original explanations, hints, and analytics layer.
Liability & Governing Law
- Ilmkaar is provided 'as is'. We make no guarantee of admission to any university — your results depend on your effort, the test, and factors beyond our control.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., missed deadlines due to platform downtime), except where prohibited by law.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, or pricing changes. Material updates will be announced on the dashboard and emailed to your registered address. Continued use of Ilmkaar after a change means you accept the new Terms.
